Welcome to the University of Notre Dame Office of Postdoctoral Affairs. Our office services the needs of the University's Postdoctoral Scholars and Non-faculty Research Appointees. We work collaboratively with Notre Dame's many departments and divisions by providing the following services:
- Oversee policies and procedures pertaining to the University’s non-faculty research appointments
- Serves as an information source and liaison among non-faculty research appointees, faculty and administrators
- Issues letters of appointment and facilitates personnel and pay matters
- Collaborates with the Graduate School and Office of Human Resources on training and professional development opportunities
- Career exploration and planning for postdoctoral scholars
- Assistance for faculty in recruiting and hiring non-faculty research appointments
- Visa support for international non-faculty research appointments
- Fostering a strong and interactive postdoctoral community
