Postdoctoral Research Associate, Radiation Laboratory, University of Notre Dame

An experimental engineer or scientist is needed to conduct radiation experiments on actinide complexes. This work will mainly examine the radiation stability of uranium compounds to better understand their longtime stability as nuclear fuels or in waste storage. Basic chemistry and a good background on analytical techniques is required. Knowledge of radiation effects and actinides is desired but not necessary. The position will be at the Postdoctoral level and a Ph.D. and U.S. citizenship are required. Compensation and benefits will depend on background and experience and will be at the level established by the University of Notre Dame.
