Notre Dame Graduate School Professional Development
The University of Notre Dame strongly believes that Postdoctoral researchers and scholars should continue their training during their time at Notre Dame.
To that end, the Graduate School Professional Development program is devoted to various initiatives clustered around the core components of Professional Development:
Event Catalog, Calendar and Registration
The professional development Catalog of Recurring Events is a publication for postdocs and graduate students that serves as a resource guide for all of the workshops offered on a regular basis.

National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity
The National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity is an independent professional development, training, and mentoring community of over 71,000 graduate students, post-docs, and faculty members. We are 100% dedicated to supporting academics in making successful transitions throughout their careers. We offer on-campus workshops, professional development training, and intensive mentoring programs.
The University of Notre Dame is an institutional member of the NCFDD. Through Notre Dame’s membership, ND Postdocs may claim an Institutional Sub-account Membership at no cost and enjoy all the benefits of an NCFDD Individual Membership.

1. Go to www.facultydiversity.org/institutions/nd
2. Activate My Membership
3. Complete the Account Information, using your “nd.edu” email as your email.
4. You will receive a welcome email within 1 business day to confirm that your account is active and you have access to the membership resources.
